Childbirth: Prepared Tuesday Evening Series - Geisinger Medical Center Danville

Classes focus on preparing for labor, delivery and post partum, including anatomy and physiology of childbirth, breathing patterns, body mechanics, exercies to strenghten muscles used in childbirth, medication/anesthesia, and techniques for coaches to support the labor process. Patricipants also tour the delivery unit.

MOM'S SHOULD BRING A PILLOW TO THIS CLASS

THERE WILL BE NO CLASS FOR MAY, JUNE, JULY & DECEMBER IN 2006!

IF CLASS HAS LESS THAN 3 REGISTERED, IT MAY BE CANCELED OR COMBINED WITH ANOTHER CLASS!

The Henry Hood Center for Health Reserach is located at the West end of Geisinger Medical Center past the Foss Entrance. Parking is available in the lot behind the School of Nursing across the street and the lot will open 15 minutes prior to class time.

First time expectant mothers and coaches.

Registration Fee

$50.00

Beginning JULY 1, 2006 the fee for this class will be $50.00.
