Vascular/Endovascular Surgical Clinic at Geisinger Wyoming Valley proves commitment to patients
WILKES-BARRE- The Pennsylvania Department of Health recently granted the Vascular/Endovascular Surgical Clinic at The Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital full occupancy status. This designation demonstrates Geisinger Wyoming Valley’s commitment to the care and treatment of vascular patients, both inpatient and outpatient.
“This clinic represents a tangible example of Geisinger's continued commitment to the care of the vascular patient,” says David R. Mariner MD, RVT, FACS. “It is my privilege to be part of a vascular team that sees patients in such a beautiful facility that, as part of the Pearsall Heart Hospital, is convenient to all of our other comprehensive endovascular and vascular services.”
The vascular surgeons at the Vascular/Endovascular Surgical Clinic are among the most experienced in the nation. They perform the most cutting-edge endovascular surgical innovations, including advanced procedures such as carotid stents. The surgeons also perform traditional vascular surgery with outstanding outcomes.
“Total vascular care can now be provided within one building, representing a continuum of care our patients can depend on,” adds John Zelonis, AVP, Geisinger Wyoming Valley.
