Tamara R. Vrabec, MD, joins the Ophthalmology Department at Geisinger Medical Center
DANVILLE— Tamara R. Vrabec, MD has joined the Ophthalmology department at Geisinger Medical Center as a retina specialist.
Dr. Vrabec is a graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Bethlehem where she graduated Cum Laude. She completed her Ophthalmology residency as well as fellowships in Retinal Research and Medical Retina and Vitreoretinal Surgery at Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Vrabec is board certified in Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has published numerous articles in professional medical magazines.
The Department of Ophthalmology at Geisinger provides comprehensive eye care for the entire family including the treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, low vision, macular degeneration, strabismus, and retinal and vitreous diseases.
