Stephen Lewis, D.O., receives national honor

BERWICK –Stephen Lewis, D.O., internal medicine/pediatrics physician at Geisinger-Berwick, was named recently a recipient of the Merck/Schering-Plough Clinical Assessment Program (CAP) Physician of the Year Award.

The national honor, presented by American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF), recognizes excellence in diabetes or coronary artery disease care. One of two excellence awards, it is given to an osteopathic physician who utilizes CAP to improve quality and patient care.

Dr. Lewis will receive the award Nov. 1 at the annual AOF Honors Celebration in New Orleans.
