Salvatore Sparich, Jr., DO, adds to growing family practice at Geisinger Medical Group-Hazleton

HAZLETON — Salvatore P. Sparich, Jr., DO, joins Geisinger Medical Group–Hazleton as a family physician. He enters a growing group of physicians including Bruce Jacobs, DO;
Rhonda Todd, MD; and Heather Marancenbaum, MD.

Before joining the Geisinger family, Dr. Sparich served the Hazleton community in a private practice setting and as the family practice department chairperson at both Hazleton General Hospital and Hazleton-St. Jospeh Medical center. Previously, he worked at the Conyngham Primary Care Center in Conyngham, Pennsylvania.

Growing up in the area, Dr. Sparich attended Marian High School in Hometown, Pennsylvania, and received his undergraduate degree from Wilkes University. He was then granted early admission to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned his medical degree. Dr. Sparich completed his residency in family practice at Wyoming Valley Family Practice in Kingston, where he also served as chief resident.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Sparich is a member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. He resides in Drums with his family.
