Reneita Ross, MD, brings surgical and medical skills in urogynecology to Geisinger Wyoming Valley

WILKES-BARRE — Reneita V. Ross, MD, joins Geisinger Wyoming Valley as an urogynecologist in the women’s health program. Dr. Ross specializes in pelvic reconstructive surgery.

Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Ross earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin. She completed residencies in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and Sinai Samaritan Hospital in Milwaukee. She is a member of both the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

While a fellow in pelvic reconstruction surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Ross presented grand rounds to the Society of Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeons. Active in the community, Dr. Ross has volunteered her time and skills to several organizations in Central America, including Cuernavaca, Mexico; Havana, Cuba; and San Salvador, El Salvador. Dr. Ross is also fluent in Spanish and proficient in American Sign Language.
