Kimberly Skelding, MD joins Geisinger Cardiology Team

DANVILLE - Kimberly A. Skelding, MD, a board-certified cardiologist and a Mount Carmel, PA, native, recently joined the team of 13 cardiologists at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Dr. Skelding earned her medical degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine, Chicago, and completed her residency at Geisinger Medical Center. She completed a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota in interventional cardiology, a minimally invasive approach to opening blocked arteries to improve blood flow to the heart.
 
She is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. She is widely published on heart related topics.
