Kenric A. Maynor, MD, MPH, appointed Director of Hospitalist Program at Geisinger Wyoming Valley

Wilkes-Barre - Kenric A. Maynor, MD, MPH, has been appointed Director of the Hospitalist Program at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. Dr. Maynor joins Geisinger from The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he served as a hospitalist.

Dr. Maynor earned both his Masters Degree in Public Health and his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT, where he also served as Chief Resident in the Primary Care Program and later as a Clinician-Instructor. Dr. Maynor was named a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD.

He is affiliated with several professional medical organizations, including the Society of General Internal Medicine, Academy of Health and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Maynor is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and is a Diplomat to the American Board of Internal Medicine.
