
Kara Brezinski-Clark, DO, joins family practice at Geisinger - Dallas
April 15, 2009, DALLAS, PENN. — Kara Brezinski-Clark, DO, joins Geisinger–Dallas as a family medicine physician and will care for patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. A native of Nanticoke, Dr. Brezinski-Clark returns to northeast Pennsylvania to join a growing group of physicians, including David Hutz, M.D., and Michael Kovalick, D.O.
Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Brezinski-Clark earned her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at Long Beach Medical Center in Long Beach, N.Y., where she also served as assistant chief resident.
As an undergraduate student at the University of Scranton, Dr. Brezinski-Clark earned a degree in biology. While there, she also participated in the Scranton-Temple Externship Program where she observed physicians during rotations in local hospitals.
During her academic career, Dr. Brezinski-Clark spent summers as a Student Medical Volunteer in Haiti and Ecuador with the Pontifical Mission Society from Scranton.
Dr. Brezinski-Clark is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and American Osteopathic Association.
