Geisinger to sponsor free health screenings at Hazleton Senior Center

HAZLETON — Join Geisinger Medical Group–Hazelton at the Hazelton Senior Center for a free health screening event for seniors on April 3, 2008 from 8 am to 12 pm. Local Geisinger health professionals in family medicine, internal medicine and optometry is hosting the event where they will take blood pressure readings, screen for diabetes with a blood glucose test, and test for glaucoma with an eye exam.

The event is free and open to the public. The Hazelton Senior Center is located on 24 East Broad Street in Hazleton.
