Geisinger to present free colorectal cancer seminar

WILKES-BARRE- A free seminar on colorectal cancer will be presented on Thursday, August 9 at noon at The Kistler Learning Center at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, 1000 East Mountain Blvd., Wilkes-Barre.

Colorectal cancer is the second leading cancer killer in the United States but it doesn’t have to be. When properly screened, colorectal cancer can be found early, when treatment often leads to a cure. Join Paula Ronjon, MD, hematologist/oncologist with Geisinger Fox Chase cancer program at The Henry Cancer Center as she discusses the latest prevention tips, symptoms, available screenings and treatment options.
