
Geisinger Ventures featured in new book - Lead Like An Entrepreneur
Feb. 8, 2006, DANVILLE — Geisinger Health System’s business development arm—Geisinger Ventures—and its Chief Executive Officer Denise Prince are featured in a new book, Lead Like An Entrepreneur, by Neal Thornberry, PhD, which has been published by McGraw-Hill.
The book includes tactics to help people become corporate leaders by applying entrepreneurial skills in their organizations. Featuring in-depth profiles and success stories from some of today’s top organizations such as Geisinger, IBM, 3M, Intel and General Electric, Lead Like An Entrepreneur reveals how to foster innovation at all levels of a corporation and how to utilize entrepreneurial leadership qualities to turn ideas into economic value.
Author Neal Thornberry holds a doctorate in Organizational Psychology and is faculty director at Babson College, renowned for its entrepreneurial education program. In the book, Thornberry explains how to become an entrepreneurial leader and how to identify, attract, and support this new class of corporate leader.
