Free golf clinic to focus on injury prevention Hosted by Geisinger Wyoming Valley Outpatient Rehabilitation Services

WILKES-BARRE — The Outpatient Rehabilitation Services department at Geisinger Wyoming Valley will host a free golf clinic on Wednesday, March 26 at 6 pm at 620 Baltimore Drive in Plains Township.

Presented by Geisinger’s team of occupational and physical therapists, the interactive clinic will advise attendees on how to prevent common injuries through proper posture and flexibility. Each participant will also get a one-on-one critique of their golf swing from local golf pro Pete Korba of the Wyoming Valley Country Club. The swing critiquing sessions will be video-recorded so the golfers can review the new techniques they’ve learned at home.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own 6-irons or 7-irons to the event.
