Erroll Goldstein, MD, FACOG, joins Geisinger Medical Group - Tunkhannock as an obstetrician and gynecologist

TUNKHANNOCK — Erroll J. Goldstein, MD, FACOG, comes to Geisinger Medical Group–Tunkhannock as an OB/Gyn, where he joins Gehred Wetzel, DO, in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Goldstein specializes in high-risk pregnancy, infertility, adolescent gynecology, and surgical gynecology. Throughout his career, Dr. Goldstein has delivered more than 4,000 babies.

Before joining Geisinger, Dr. Goldstein practiced with Mercy Health Partners in Scranton. He then served as private practice physician throughout a significant portion of his medical career, both in Scranton and in Westford, Massachusetts. Dr. Goldstein also has a history with Geisinger, working within the health system as an OB/Gyn physician at Geisinger Specialty Clinics–Wilkes-Barre for several years.

As an adjunct professor in the physician assistant program at Marywood University, Dr. Goldstein takes a proactive role in the development of the next generation of medical professionals.

Board certified, Dr. Goldstein earned his medical degree at Faculte Lubre de Medecine de Lille at the Catholic University of Lille in France. He interned at Sir Mortimer B. Davis Jewish General Hospital at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and then completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Goldstein is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and holds memberships in several professional organizations such as the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Lackawanna Medical Society, Luzerne Medical Society, American Fertility Society, and American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Active in the local community, Dr. Goldstein serves on the board of directors of such institutions as the Jewish Community Center in Scranton, Jewish Family Services of Lackawanna County and the United Jewish Appeal. Dr. Goldstein is fluent in French and proficient in Spanish.

Dr. Goldstein rounds out a group of seven other physicians at Geisinger Medical Group–Tunkhannock with specialties in family and internal medicine, as well as ENT and general surgery.

Dr. Goldstein has lived in Northeastern Pennsylvania for 24 years.
