Englok Yap, MD joins Geisinger Wyoming Valley Pain Management Clinic

WILKES-BARRE—Englok Yap, MD has joined Geisinger Wyoming Valley as an associate in the Department of Anesthesia. He will provide diagnosis and treatment of pain problems on an outpatient basis at the Pain Management Clinic located at Geisinger Wyoming Valley’s Outpatient Surgery Center – Route 315.

Dr. Yap earned his Bachelor’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University and his Doctorate of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his internal medicine internship at The Medical Center of Delaware, and his residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in pain management at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Yap is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with added qualification in pain management and the American Board of Pain Medicine.

Dr. Yap joins Geisinger Wyoming Valley after six years of practice in Portland, Oregon. He is affiliated with several professional medical organizations including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Pain Society and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia.

The Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center Outpatient Surgery Center- Route 315 is located at 1130 Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre.
