Eduardo D. Tron, MD, joins Geisinger's Janet Weis Children's Hospital's Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Department
DANVILLE- Eduardo Daniel Tron, MD, has recently joined the department of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Geisinger. Dr. Tron specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children with disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver.
Dr. Tron, who is fluent in Spanish, is a 1985 graduate of the University of Buenos Aires Medical School in Argentina.
He completed his pediatric residency training at the Buenos Aires Children’s Hospital in Argentina and the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Tron completed his Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition fellowship at Cornell University Presbyterian Hospital in New York.
Board-certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, Dr. Tron joins Geisinger from the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, where he was assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at the Digestive Diseases and Nutrition Center.
Dr. Tron will see patients in East Stroudsburg, Lehighton, Plains, Danville and Scranton.
