Adam D. Wagshul, MD joins Orthopaedic Team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley

WILKES-BARRE— Adam David Wagshul, MD, has joined the orthopaedic team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley. His office is located in the Orthopaedics Department at the Valley Medical Building, adjacent to Geisinger Wyoming Valley, at 1000 East Mountain Boulevard, Plains Township. He joins orthopaedic surgeons William Krywicki, MD,David Kolessar, MD, Hans Olsen, MD, and Sports Medicine specialist,David Ross, MD.

A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Wagshul holds bachelor’s degrees in biology and French. He received his Medical Degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore. Dr. Wagshul completed a general surgery internship at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, an orthopaedic surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia and a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma care at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Wagshul is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has presented at numerous conferences and symposiums across the country.
